On August 27, the State Museum of Oriental Art presents an exhibition of Chinese painting and calligraphy “New Era. New friendship. New Haidian. The exposition is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China and to the China Festival in Moscow.
The exhibition will feature about 70 works made in the tradition of national Chinese painting "guohua": famous Chinese landscapes , portraits of prominent Chinese figures, works in the "flowers and birds" genre, as well as samples of "beautiful writing" - calligraphy.

From June 14 to June 16, 2019, the Festival of Turkey will be held in Krasnaya Presnya Park in Moscow. The event is organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Moscow and Mosgorpark with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. The festival will be held within the framework of the Cross Year of Culture and Tourism of both countries. The grand opening of the festival will take place on June 14 at 18:00. Official representatives of Moscow and Turkey will attend the ceremony. Master classes and an entertainment program will be organized for festival guests. The site will host the Grand Bazaar, Craft Village, Hotel Street, a photo exhibition and a Shadow Theatre. Visitors will be able to purchase original dishes, textiles, spices and ceramics, get acquainted with traditional Turkish art and craft, taste Turkish tea, coffee and oriental sweets. The festival program also includes performances by Turkish musicians, a presentation of national cuisine and children's animation. On June 16, the Embassy of India will organize the celebration of the 5th International Day of Yoga in Tagansky Park in Moscow. This year marks the fifth anniversary since the start of the celebration of the International Day of Yoga after its unanimous approval by the United Nations General Assembly on June 21, 2015. Over the past 4 years, International Yoga Day has become a global event dedicated to celebrating and supporting the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga. This year the celebration will begin with the practice of the "General Yoga Protocol", a series of asanas and meditation practices, followed by open workshops by leading Moscow yoga masters. The event will host a special "Vegetarian Food Festival" dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Mahatma Gandhi, who practiced vegetarianism and promoted the principles of "ahimsa" or non-violence towards other living beings and the environment. The food festival will bring together a variety of Indian and Russian vegetarian dishes, allowing for a delicious gastronomic journey.
The Astana Economic Forum is the annual central business event of Eurasia. Over the 11 years of its operation, the Astana Economic Forum (AEF) has acquired the status of one of the most influential international platforms for discussing the recovery and development of the global economy and financial system. From May 14 to May 26, the State Museum of Oriental Art presents an exhibition of one exhibit “The Flavor of Time. Classics in modern kimono”, where women's top kimono – utikake will be exhibited.
Kimono is a traditional Japanese dressing variant of the dressing gown common in Asian countries. Women's costume, in comparison with men's, is very diverse. One of its elements is uchikake. It is worn over the main kimono and is not secured with a belt. It was sewn from expensive fabrics - brocade, silk and decorated with auspicious symbols. In the old days, utikake was worn by representatives of the nobility during large receptions and festivities. Nowadays, its use is limited to the bride's costume and theatrical performances.

On March 24-27, Moscow will host a press tour of Kazakhstani journalists and bloggers “Kazakhstan Oryssha”. The press tour is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the speech of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev at the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, when for the first time the idea of Eurasian integration was expressed to the scientific community.
The press tour continues a series of events within the framework of the intercountry project "Kazakhstan Oryshsha", the purpose of which is to expand partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan in the humanitarian, informational, cultural and historical spheres, strengthening contacts between structures involved in the preservation of Kazakh culture in the Russian Federation, scientific and analytical centers for the study of Kazakh history and the media community of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event will be held as part of the activities of the Russian-Kazakhstani IQ-Club. The organizers of the press tour are the Information and Analytical Center for the Study of the Post-Soviet Space (Moscow) and the Berlek-Unity Center for Geopolitical Research (Ufa).
